The speakers are Silverline Audio SR15 minimonitors.

Have you ever listened to similar Silverline Audio speakers? Even though they appear to have gotten decent reviews, no one can tell you what sounds good to you.

The only way to buy speakers is to listen to them with equipment similar to what you have at home. Bring your own music in, something you're very familiar with, and take your time listening. Keep in mind that room acoustics play a big part in what the sound will be like.

Many high end dealers will let you audition speakers in your own home. That way you're sure to be happy with your purchase.

So, getting back to your question, if you've heard these speakers and absolutely love them, bid whatever you're comfortable with. Keep in mind that they probably won't be covered under the manufacturers warranty. You buy them you own them. If you've never heard them, save your money, find a reputable dealer and audition many different brands. That's the only way to go. I don't know, maybe $10? I don't need speakers. Since the retail is 1,800, I would say MAX $200, But thats how much I would pay for a pair of bookshelfs. yeah i would pay no more than $300 My gut tells me this is an extention of the white van speaker scam. Do not buy these speakers. i remember that name, and i seem to remember a white van. hmmmmm coincidence maybe?, sorry, i wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks for them , and i wouldn't use them on anything high powered
