What's a good mid-level A/V reciever?
I want to start a new home theatre system and need to get a nice A/V reciever. What brands/models are worth investigating?

Denon is a pretty good place to look,just as you pick a receiver remember some of the formats and connections are changing i.e since some of the newer TVs are coming with HMDI hookups, and new DVD players such as Blu -Ray and HD-DVD you'll want to keep those connections in mind, also some receivers have ports so u can play your i-pod and lastly Satellite radio XM and Sirius can be played through some receivers too.
