What's a good DVD player that does both Dolby Digital and DTS sound for cheap?

I just bought a new speaker system, (logitech z5500) that will rock my socks off. It supports both dolby digital and DTS decoding. The problem is that my current dvd player is kind of old and I think it only works with Dolby Digital, not the DTS. Thus, I want to get a new DVD player, but I don't want to spend more than 50 bucks or so to get one. Any recommendations would be great. If I can get it at walmart or Best Buy or something, that'd be preferable to ordering something online. Thanks!

Ok let me see if I can help. I am assuming that the speakers you got a computer style speaker. By that I mean they have their own power (amp) probably in the sub. The processing whether DTS or Dolby Dig. will go on inside the amp/preamp/processor in the sub. All you have to do is to connect your DVD player to the system with either a optical out or the digital coax. As your sub has inputs for both it will depend on the DVD player (most have one or the other).

So if you still like your player and it has one of the two digital outputs there is no reason to replace it. Hope this helped.

P.S. Don't use the red&white audio out of the player. You can't get 6 channels of info out of left and right. Craig is correct. The DTS will be decoded by your speaker system. As long as your DVD player is hooked up to the speaker system using a coaxial or optical digital cable, you shouldn't have a problem.

DTS is not an option on all DVDs. In order for your player to output a DTS soundtrack... It must be set to do so automatically, or the DTS soundtrack must be selected manually using the options menu on the DVD being played

Craig gets my vote.... just trying to make things a little more clear... Anyone will do it depends on what format the discs wre burned in and also you can just check for the logos right on the players themself they are usually on there.
