What type of wire should I use to hook up home reciever and speakers?
I've purchased and Onkyo TX-SR674 and all JBL Venue speakers. What is going to be the best way to wire? Just regular old 16gauge with the ends stripped? I'm pretty sure you can use some sort of a plug in connector with the reciever and speakers. But would it be worth the price?

You didn’t mention how long the cable runs will need to be.
Get the thickest possible gauge you can afford. If the speaker cable crosses the path of electrical wire – make sure it’s shielded.
Suggest you visit Radio Shack - their cables are always the proper impendence and a great value.
