the biggest go to an electronics store and check them out. oh i almost forgot DO NOT buy a tv online! i bought one and when i picked it up at the store the screen was smashed!!!! all i know is that sony is a good company Your budget really limits you, even for a 26" LCD TV. I hope you don't buy on price, alone. Stick to the well known brands, such as Panasonic, Toshiba, and Hitachi! Stay away from the cheap newcomers, like Ilo, Element, Polaroid and Vizio - too many service and parts problems, and from RCA and Philips/Magnavox.
Look at the Toshiba 20" LCD HDTV (20HL67). It's a 720p with both HDMI and PC hookups for under $400 at many places, including Circuit City.

Make sure you'll get something that have atleast:
a) 720p (hehehe I know, you will still find something that will have this resolution even for $400)
b) HD input (at least a component in)
c) ATSC tuner.so you can watch TV...
d) HDMI in is a bonus.
