What kind of in-wall speakers should I get on a budget? - and where?

I want to save space - my yamaha's are huge and I'm looking to save space for a new downtown apartment. I need something of good quality but not too expensive. What kind and where? If you could help, that would be great

circuit city carries two brands of in wall speakers that are both actually not bad considering their price. in wall speakers are a nitch market, therefore usually expensive when compared to speakers of comparable quality. don't forget to see if it's alright with your landlord! those holes are gonna be pretty big. if you don't already have a nice surround sound reciever, you might do well to look at an all-in-one package with small sattelite speakers and seperate subwoofer. they are usually not that bad. I would personally go for something like JBL they have great speakers, they aren't super expensive, moderate, but not crazy expensive, they are usually fairly compact and the sound is excellent. I would check out a place like best buy or a big store like that for cheapest prices! if you got the money buy Bose which havetiny speakers that sound great. But you can check on these. Also check on wireless speakers too. I am in San Antonio, so we have wal-mart, compuserv, circuit city, target, and some others. Problem is when you have a small budget then there are no really good speakers, You buy what you can afford. Like saying I good $50 and want to buy some good speakers. Well problem is there are no $50 that sound like $300, so that is what I mean. If you are not spending much just buy what you can afford then.
