What is your comment on the following combinations?

42 inch Plasma TV (pioneer), AV receiver (Denon 2907) and DVD player (Denon 2930CI) and 5.1 speaker system (Mirage NANOSAT system). Thanks

You don't really need such a POWERFUL receiver for pushing those LITTLE, TINY speakers...If I changed anything, I would opt for some BOOKSHELF speakers with a "three-way" design (tweeter, mid and sub) and at least an 8-inch woofer...It'll sound so much better than a "SUB/SAT" system. ooooooooooooo

now muthaf**ka My comment is: Expensive! Everything looks great except for the Plasma TV. I have heard too many negative things about the Plasma technology in general I guess. One thing they do is use more power than, say, LCD, because it takes more to energize the phosphorous gas in the little bubble like things that are behind the outside of the screen. Some get small red pixels showing on the screen, like some DLP TVs. I would highly recommend LCD, either Sony, or Panasonic 42". Sony has the Grand Wega Engine, which is an interface to give you good resolution in Digital & HD. So, the ball is in your court. Have fun shopping. I know I did, for 2 wks before I decided on my TV. I like the TV. I'd recommend Pioneer Elite Receiver and a Pioneer Elite DVD player. I don't know this speaker system. Depending on your price point, I could make recommendations on the speakers. I personallly like electrostatic speakers. Look at Velodyne subwoofers. B&W makes nice speakers. it sounds good,but expensive
