What is the best way to move my cable outlet to a different wall?
I am moving into a 2nd story condo with vaulted ceilings. I want to put my tv on the opposite wall that the cable outlet is currently on. I can't run the cable down under the floor because I am on the second story and I don't think I can go up because I don't think there would be enough room in vaulted ceilings. I could be wrong on that one though. I heard about removing the baseboards and hiding it in there but there is one of wall where the window goes all the way to the floor with no molding/baseboards. Does anyone have any ideas? I would like to run cable for an outlet and also two pairs of speaker wires for rear speakers from one side of the room to the other. Thanks.

OK....if it's Actually CABLE...Call the Cable company and have them ADD a Cable line on the other wall......
They have the equipment to do it right and make it look good....However, you may want to add an electrical box and RF Wall plate, if that is true, then INFORM THE CABLE GUY and let him punch the hole where the wall plate will go....then you finish up behind him with your plate and box.....
As for the speaker wire, it sounds like hiding it behind the baseboard, bringing it out by the windows, then back in behind the baseboard is the ONLY way to go.....Many lumberyards also carry smaller mouldings or special corner mounts to hide that "Window wiring" I seen people lift up their carpet and run the wires along the edges of the wall. i have also seen faux baseboards where you run the wire along the edge of the wall and cover the wire with the faux baseboards. okay there is a few ways to go with speaker wire there is the flat speaker wire. see url below. or buy paintable wire. or go wireless system. now for the cable best is have cable copmany come do it.
