This will allow you get some of the crowd effects, as well as some of the action spread around you. Depending on the system you are playing on, say the XBOX (360), or Playstation 2/3 you have an Optical output that you can connect to the system. If you have your system connected that way, they are made to give you surround sound in the standard Dolby Digital Surround Setting. If you don't have it hooked up with 5.1 cables (optical), then put the receiver in Dolby Pro Logic II and that will get you as close as you can get.
