What is dvd9? can it be played on a normal dvd player ?
i am kindof new to dvd9. and not sure whether dvd9 can be played on a normal dvd player. i think my dvd player is quite old - its dvd-r player i think.

our usual dvd's are called dvd-5 ie. they can hold 4.7GB space. DVD-9 are called dual layer discs and can hold 8.5GB worth data. almost all dvd players play dvd 9. so unless yours is very old i think it sholuld be able to play dvd 9
