What happens if you lose a netflix movie in the mail right before you end your membership?

My membership ends in a few days and Seven Sammurai is lost in the mail. I understand that the company usually lets it slide if you only lose one or two, but does the fact that I'm ending my membership soon affect anything?

note: I havent reported it lost yet.

well from what i understand yes they do care for some reason almost all DVD company start showing you their ugly side after you unsubscribe well if i were you i would tell them ASAP or they would think your stealing their DVD to get back at them =( or you can wait for 1 week in which you hope the DVD is just stuck in the Mail delivery =) lost on its way to you? Or on the way back? Either way, report it lost. If you are ending membership there's nothing they can do -- by quitting you've ended their authority to charge your credit card. I don't know about Netflix but, with Blockbuster they scan them at the Post Office proving that you sent the DVD back
