What Home theater sytem would you recommend under $400??

This answer might not help you but what I would recommend is buying a decent receiver and a pair of speakers for that price then later on upgrade or purchase better speakers and eventually add more speakers and a sub. under $400 these days there are lots of garbage out there. DON'T buy "speaker wire"...Go to LOWES or HOME DEPOT...Look for "18/5 THERMOSTAT WIRE"...It's only 20 cents a foot...You'd pay over $3 per foot for it a home store...(It has 5 separate wires inside itself)
Thermostat wire is a LITTLE tricky...Combine 2 pair for the POSITIVE...Combine 2 pair for the NEGATIVE...And CLIP the 5th wire...You want that SOLID CONDUCTOR wire...The BRAIDED MULTI-STRAND speaker wire that everyone sells is GARBAGE...Also, the TWISTED PAIRS inside the THERMOSTAT WIRE will ELIMINATE any ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE...(radio and TV waves)
