URHENT amplifier/tv/HT/PC conexion help plz!??
hey!! I JUS HAPPENED TO BUY THE PIONEER VSX-416 SERIES 130X5, 5.1 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER AND SUCCESSFULLY CONECTED MA BOSE 5.1 ACCOUSTMASS 15 SERIES TO IT AND ALSO A SONY DVD PLAYER VIA ANALOG CABLES...BUT I JUS CANT FIND OUT A WAY TO CONNECT MY SONY WEGA TV ONTO THE AMP WITHOUT DISCONECTING THE DVD... AND ALSO I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT MY COMPUTER ONTO THE AMP...THERE IS ALSO A DIGITAL INPUT AVAILABLE ON THE AMP... HELP ME CONNECT ALL THESE 3 DEVICES ONTO MA AMP!!

First off easy with the caps PAL. You didn't mention which Sony you have so here are two options. If your Sony has a ATSC tuner and you want to have DD surround sound you need to re assign one of the digital inputs to the correct front input ( see your manual for this).Make sure to switch inputs on the receiver to the one you assign. You will also need to connect a stereo set of cables to the analog out of the Wega.
If your TV is NTSC then just connect the analog set.
Believe it or not the same goes for the computer. But since you neglected to include the model of TV the outputs available to the Computer or the models of everything else I can't give you an exact answer to your question. When in doubt check you manuals!! Why are you trying to connect your TV to your amp? Are you trying to just route the TV sound into the amp so it comes out of your speakers? For most of your problems (connect TV to amp, computer to amp), all you really need is a Y cable that is a headphone jack to 2 RCA (red/white) male plugs. A link is available below in my sources. Just connect the red/white plugs to an available "IN" set of red/white plugs on the amp and you'll be good to go.
