TV choice: Samsung DLP @ $1160, Sony 3LCD @ $1300, or Sony XSRD @ $1700?

I'm looking to buy an HDTV, and I've narrowed my choices down to the following three options:

Samsung HL-S5086W 50" DLP rear projection TV. price: $1160

Sony KDF-50E2000 50" 3LCD rear projection TV. price: $1300

Sony KDS-50A2000 50" XSRD 1080p rear projection TV. price: $1700

Which option do you think is a better value?

I just bought the KDS-50A2000 and I am very pleased. There may be a few downsides, like the bulbs burning out. They cost around 250$ dollars to replace but it is easily done. Simply remove a cover in the backside of the television and change the bulb. I was told by the guy at best buy to expect them to burn out anywhere between 5-7 years. Rainbow effects will not happen with this TV as I had read. But, the extra money you are paying for comes mainly from the resolution (1080p). So if you don't have a PS3, or any kind of High Def DVD player(blue-ray/HD-DVD) i wouldn't bother. This set is extremely bright and the contrast ratio is pretty good (10,000:1) Blacks look deep and inky. HD picture is extremely amazing and SD picture is pretty good. The amount of calibration settings that can be done is pretty high also. I would also recommend picking up one of the two following DVD's. 1- AVIA Guide to home theater. 2- Digital Video Essentials. These DVD's run audio and video tests on your set and allow you to adjust the picture, sharpness, color, and other settings to display the perfect picture. When you veiw a television in-store, most are set on the "torch" mode which increase the contrast and brightness to the fullest to attract viewers, but when calibrated with the help of the following DVD's, your picture could look more lifelike and provide some of the best detail possible. I Love this T.V. and i would say buy it, but i would also review others and make the decesion based the source of your viewing material, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, High Def, Standard Def, etc etc. you most def need to go with one of the sonys.
