Should i get a small center channel speaker (3.125") or the standard (5") woofers?

I like the look of the smaller one, but how much difference in sound quality will there be? Is it better to go for the larger size?

It really depends upon what your mains are. If you are already

using Yamaha speakers for the front, either Yamaha center

channel should work well. Although, you may need to turn up the

center channel's volume if you go with the CC that comes with

the 2?" woofers because the sensitivity is low (i.e. 86 dB).

I would go for the larger size. It depends a lot on the specs of the speakers and the receiver. Your center channel is where you get most of your main sound from anyway. The rest of the speakers are all enhancements sounds. Check out this speaker on the link. I have a friend that installs high end home theater systems and this is what he uses as center channel. I've watched quite a few movies on it and it sounds great! The BIC Acoustech line are very similar to Klipsch speakers just without the high price tag. the center channel is the most important speaker for watching movies, 90% of the dialogue is played through this speaker so dotn skimp on it, get the best one you can afford and dont look back. i currently have the polk csi5 and it blows **** up. look around and try to match the series of speakers in your setup so that all the timbres are matched (the way the voices sound)
