Projector HD and ps3?
I am looking at purchasing this projector http://www.projectorcentral.com/epson-po... I was wondering if it would work with a PS3. I know ps3's are going to have a HDMI cable slot for 1080i HD. This Projector plays 1080i HD but has no cable slot for HDMI. So will 1080i still work with this projector component cables and a ps3?

The current confirmed information about the PS3 leads me to believe that it will have 2 HDMI ports and the old AV-multi output. The AV-multi out is analog and I seriously doubt that it will support HD output over the analog cable. that is if the analog even supports composite video rather than the old component yellow RCA cable. If it is important that you be able to play your PS3 in HD, I would suggest looking at a different projector that has HDMI as composite is becoming a legacy technology with high end displays. Also, on a side note; the projector you listed does not seem that impressive from the specs. The contrast ratio seems a bit low for my taste, but it is all up to you. for a few more dollars you could probably get a much better projector if you shop around a bit.
