How do I connect a DVD player and cable to an older TV?
I have an older TV, it works great and it only has one port, cable in port. I want to connect a DVD, or my PS2 to this TV in my spare room. How do I connect a DVD player to an older TV? I have cable hooked to the TV, I do not want to purchase another TV at this time it is a good TV, and this is only in the spare room so there is not need for a new TV, I am just looking for some sort of adaptor or splitter that would allow me to connect both cable and a DVD player to this TV.

What you are looking for is called an RF Modulator and can be purchased at your local Radio Shack.
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index. either use a VCR or go to radio shack/walmart and get a modulator. it is an adapter kinda like a USB hub that lets you split the connection that you already have. or go to the cable company and get a splitter. Go to Radio Shack and tell them your problem. If the worker has any smarts they should be able to patch something together. Go to Best Buy or some place like that. There is an adapter you can get. I got one for an older tv my son uses that only has one cable connector, no plug-ins for dvd or ps2. In latest tv there is a av guard is separated by a 3 pin point,but in case of older tv there is only one pin point is present ,u can ask a electronic shop retailer to give a av guard pin for a older tv which connects DVD as well as cable
