HDMI help for ps3?
i hav a RCA hdtv and i dont hav a HDMI slot in it. so now i cant watch my planet earth blu-ray dvd.how can i get my planet earth dvd to play?there is no sound and i dont know how to get sound when i dont hav a HDMI slot in my tv.

Sony sells an adapter cable That provides you with component video and audio output jacks.
Go into the PS3 setup menu and select component video out.
Connect the Red,Green and Blue cables to an open component input on your TV and enjoy.
Good Luck The PS3 can be hooked up with component video and analog video cable. However it may be set so the blu-ray will only play off the hdmi, although it shouldn't be that way. I might reccommend getting a new TV if its in the budget.
