DVD player wont eject disk. Display on player lights up with "LOCKED". SONY DVP-S330.?
The disk that is in it plays fine, but the player refuses to open the drawer. I've tried with both the remote and the buttons in front. All other functions are fine, but it won't let the drawer open and displays "LOCKED".
I've tried unplugging the machine and leaving it unplugged a while. I've tried pressing Power & Open & Stop all at once. The manual says if this happens contact Dealer or Service Facility.

The manual gave you the right advice. Do not open the DVD player or try to use any force. Call your dealer or an authorized Sony repair center. They can tell you how to get it out of this mode. You can also call Sony for help with this. If all else fails get a dealer to give you the number for the Sony product rep for your area. Try tapping the drawer,not too hard but sometimes this can release it. try the remote "open"
or open the box, if you know what you are doing.
