Anyone recommend the Sony HTSS1100 surround system ?

It is a cheap system available only in the UK for around 200 gbp. for everyone else that converts to under $400 US.
It is a cheap HTIB so what are you expecting? You get what you pay for. But if it has what you want and sounds good to you, then get it. But I will tell you just by spending a little more you will get a better system by buying things separate. HTIBS are meant to move product not sonic quality. I wouldnt all home theater in a box systems always lack in one part like you might get a good sub but the sats suck or vice versa or if not crappy amplifier take your time and for about the same amount you can buy seperates and get a better quality sound check out polk audio speakers theyre not too expensive and they sound badass then get a yamaha or onkyo receiver in the mix
