no it won't be going down any time soon your best bet in getting a cheap one would be ebay and my idea of cheap for an xbox 360 pro console would only be about at the least $350 on ebay also check out amazon.com and also try sams club mayby instead of getting just the console save up and get a bundle pack from sams club for $449.95 i got one for christmas and its well worth it if you were to buy everything it came with seperatley it would cost well over $600.00 for everything i got in the bundle. so all i can tell you to do is just keep checkin out sites to see if the price is going down or if anyone is selling a refurbrished one. Highly doubt it, I mean like its competion the PS3 is loads more expensive. a shitload of money over 500 not shr i got mine at the price of 398.99 6 months ago so most likely it will go down..... by the way i think it is worth that money i like it
