Xbox 360 VS Xbox?

I bought my son a 360 for xmas . Little did i know the old games dont play on the new console. I and my son feel ripped off . Do any xbox games play on the 360 ? If this is not the case we have committed to upgrading a console after years of loyalty to this company. paying upto 40 quid a game. To find its now obsolite !!!!!!

you can play regular xbox games on your 360 If you cheack microsoft's website, they have updates for certain games. I just went through the same experiance, i feel just as ripped off as you do. i have the same problem only some games play microsoft has also stopped selling the old xbox and stopped making the games to try force the customers into buying the 360

this is ridiculous how much they are screwing over the customers it plays the really popular xbox ones, but I did notice that some of the old xbox games dont' run on it, like I had battlefield 2: modern combat, on regular xbox and it didn't run. I just kept my old xbox and any time i get those old school urges for gaming, I just break that out. Yes some XBOX games work on XBOX 360 provided that you have a Hard drive installed...The list of games is given on the link entered in my source... i bought the 360 my self and was mad that it wouldnt play any xbox games but this is what you do you have to have a hard drive and if you do the web site releases updates everymonth or so allowing you to play more xbox games but go to the site below and it instucts you on burning the update to a disk to which you update you xbox with then have fun
