3 red lights. WTF!?

personality i would go with a PS3 or wii because if you get your new 360 the chances of the red ring of death happening to you again are high Okay, just totally forget what the above have stated (besides the one guy who actually told you to try) anyway, What has happened is that you 360's chipset has overheated, now more likely than not this has happened more than once and this most recent was just the straw that broke the camels back and the sauder points have indeed also craked. There are "home" remedies for this, but to put it bluntly the suck hard and are nothing more than temporary. I would call 1-800-4MY-XBOX it does take a while to get through sometimes. The best time to call is early morning, also just go straight to a rep once you choose hardware as your problem type, hitting zero a bunch always works too. Let them know what has happened. They will give you shipping instructions and a work order # follow their directions to the letter. I would also suggest nutting up and paying for the 2nd day air mail to send it to them, just think the sooner they get it the sooner they send it back. besides its under $20.00. Now depending on how old your 360 is there may be a fee. They will tell you if there is going to be a fee while you are on the phone with them so there won't be any surprises. But you should be ok unless it is a launch 360. The whole process if you send it to them 2nd day air should only take 2 weeks. Take an big dump on it ..wrap it up ,,send it back to microsoft and get a ps 3
