Why won't my tivo display live tv?
Recorded shows are fine and cable works fine as I can see it when split to another tv input.

I can't figure this out either. All I have to do is start to show a recorded program and then immediately hit "live" and it switches to live tv and then works fine for quite a while. This only happens once in a while and the tech people can't figure it out either. I'm on my third unit and it keeps happening. Enjoy the Series 3. Just got one myself!
Don't forget to call your cable company to get the 2 cable cards. :-)
