I was wondering when all is said and done, how per month is your bill?

The Plus HD/DVR package for existing customers is $69.99 per month. You would still have your other charges like if you have protection plan or more than one receiver in your house or extra packages like HBO or a sports subscription. It all depends on what you have on your account as to how much your bill will be each month. Everything is negotiable and DTV will definitely negotiate on the cost of the equipment if not the cost of the subscription. On the subscription you can talk them into giving you some free premium channels for a while.
But before you go and negotiate anything, check the channel line-up and ask yourself if the few HD channels they offer are worth any expense? I sure don't. directv will have 70 new hd channels on the air in sept 07, they are not raising the price at all. also directv will have an additional 80 hd channels added at the first of the year..directv is effectively putting everyone else out of the hd market.
