will the photo service delete the pictures for me on my picture card after they copy them?

My 90 year old Mother will not be able to operate that function on the new digital camera I bought her.

Generally no but accidents do happen some times! I would suggest that you take the card in for your mother and upload it your self the easiest and best way I know of. Some places let you upload over the Internet too. They generally do not delete any picture that are on the card. She might could ask them to see if they would, but typically they don't because they don't want the customer coming back screaming "You lost my pictures!" Sigh, probably not, for the reason "kewltazdude" mentioned.

Because of my own 80+ year old mother's inability to handle the complexities of a digital camera controls, and the problems of getting the memory card erased after "processing" when I'm not with her, I convinced her that buying "one-time-use" film cameras was the safest bet for getting pictures processed at the store. It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
