Would you buy a camera off of ebay?

I have bought cameras from both private sellers and huge companies on eBay. Check the feedback. Read the actual reviews, even though they are 100% positive. Sometimes they are "less than perfect," but still deserving of positive feedback.

CametaAuctions and 47th Street Photo are two eBay sellers that were huge in the regular mail order business before moving to eBay.

Much of eBay is just the 21st century version of traditional mail order, so you have to ask if you'd buy a camera over the phone or through the mail. If you would, then buying from a reputable eBay seller is no different. I would buy anything from e-bay. In fact I do. No problems so far last 3 years. Yes, if the seller's credibility checks out okay. no cuz it might be used or broken-- if it doesnt work u cant send it back, but in a store u can no way, I have to look at things like that in my hands. Of course. Iask the seller if he offers anykind of warranty, but I have sold many cameras on eBay I have bought a camera off of Ebay, despite the fact that I hate shopping there (the whole bidding thing annoys me), and I've never had any problems with it. 4.5 megapixel, lesser-known brand for about $60. Not a bad deal. So, I say go for it. nope, could be sratched or broken and they wouldn't tell u, or it could have had bad problems in the past, and they wouldn't tell u, but not all ppl on ebay r like that....if i were u i would not buy a camera off the internet, unless it was a store, like radio shack or something, and they would ship it to u.....hope i helped!!! :) my boyfriend bought me a digital camera for last christmas and its fantastic. he got that one off ebay. just make sure you check their feedback ratings and if they have a lot of negative then either be careful or find another seller. Yes. I buy almost everything off of eBay now....
