Why isn't the pictures window popping up?
When I connect my digital camera-NOW FIXED-into my computer VIA USB cord, the pictures window doesn't pop up! The pictures refuse to upload? WTH!?
Answer:
Try this.
1. Reboot your machine with the camera disconnected.
2. When it reboots, connect the camera.
3. Wait one minute
4. Launch Windows Explorer
5. Check if your camera shows up as a removable drive.
If it does, you can downlad the picrures from there.
If it does not, you probably need to check the usb drivers and may need to uninstall them. Then reboot the machie and connect the camera again. This should initate the installation of the drivers. Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.
picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
