Service is poor. No local support/service system. Repairs are cost prohibitive.
None of this is an issue if you think of this as a disposable camera. when it breaks toss in a landfill or recycle. They are good cameras, they just aren't as popular as the other company's, so they're prices will be cheaper... which then makes people think they are cheaply made or they break easily... not true.
