Which of these two cameras is better for me?
I like to take pictures of myself, my friends, vacations, places, and sometimes landscapes, so I guess I mostly use cameras for regular stuff and a little bit of photography. Would you reccomend

Also does anyone know If that sony camera has image stabilization features or does it have other features that compensate for that?

Neither camera has image stabilization AND neither camera has an optical viewfinder. Personally, I think this is a recipe for disaster, as you will not be able to hold your camera nearly as steady if you have to hold it at arm's length to look at the LCD monitor for every picture.
In the same price range and with the same sleek look, perhaps you would consider the Canon Powershot SD800-IS. It has image stabilization and an optical viewfinder. The two you mentioned DO have a larger sensor and might do better in low light situations, but in the settings you describe, I doubt you would see any difference.

The Sony has a bigger LCD screen which is always a plus. I have owned both brands of cameras before and I have had better success with the Sony. Sony Cyber shot is best for your requirement.
