Which new Canon camera would you recommend?
Canon is coming out with the sd900 with NO image stabilizer,10mp w/3 optical, and movie clip setting max of 1024 x 768 @ 15 fps. AND the 800IS,which is 7.1mp,3.8 optical and the image stabilizer, BUT movie clip setting max resolution of 640 x 480 @ 30/15 fps. I want what is best for doing photo./movie clip slideshows on a 55" tv... debating... Help :) Would you do the more megapixels and higher movie res, without stabilizer, OR go with the other WITH image stabilizer, a slight more optical zoom, and a little less megapixels and little less movie res?? Hard call...

If your looking for a Digital SLR and are new to the SLR market, defintly the EOS 350D is a fantastic starter for the photography enthuasiast If you have an HD TV to display on, go for the higher resolution. IS is not going to help with moving video clips anyhow.
