Which is better? Canon Powershot S3 IS or the Panasonic DMC-FZ7?
The features I want are:
12x optical zoom
Some kind of burst capability
Exposures lasting at least 15 sec
Able to focus quickly and at close range
I'm open to other options

The Panasonics are a waste of a good lens in front of a bad sensor ("unquote") and seem to have real problems with noise artifact. See the last paragraph on this page: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasoni...

some other best prosumer digital camera would be from sony... and better camera than S3 IS would be those DSLR ones
