Any camera that doesn't have the 'noise' problems (even at ISO 80) of the Panasonic...has got to be better. It's a shame because the Panasonic should be an excellent camera...but it, (any many other Panasonic models) is let down by the 'noisy' sensor.
When looking for the next closest competitor to the S3 IS...also look at the Sony H2 or H5.
