Which digital cameras allow you to shoot multipule times with little delay?

If you don't want to get an SLR for that, Canon G2 does that and I bet the newer CAnon S2 and S3 do it as well. Many point and shooters have multiple shots option nowdays.

The Canon Eos Rebel digital SLR camera can shoot 3 frames in one second which means it can capture and freeze fairly fast action. There is delay while the camera processes the 3 frames..about 30 seconds...then you're ready to go again. Nikon D50, D70, D200

Most "semi-pro" digital cameras have a "buffer" that stores the pictures as they are taken. Once a picture gets in the buffer, it's then written to the memory card.

This allows the user to keep shooting and (for the most part) not worry.

The number of pictures that will fit in the buffer depend on the camera and the quality (size) of the picture taken. Any of the current crop of Digital SLR's will do the job for you. These cameras will do anything from 2.5 frames per second to 8 frames per second.
