Which digital camera?
I would like to buy my partner a digital camera for Christmas, but i don't have any idea what i am looking for and also don't want to spend more than about ￡150. Can anyone help me?!

I'd definitely recommend the Canon range. The Powershot A430 is a good one, it has 4 x optical zoom and well within your price range -4 million megapixels. Also the Canon Ixus range are great, extremely compact and take great pics - most are at least 6 million megapixels. the advantage with the Ixus cameras is that they have a rechargeable lithium ion battery which lasts for ages. All are much cheaper to buy online (savings of up to ￡100 even in this price range). I'd recommend www.pixmania.com or once you decide the model you want put it through pricerunner www.pricerunner.com. yuo should get the sony camera try curry's theyhad a really nice samsung for ￡99. 6MP, 3/4 times zoom, really nice Sony, Panasonic have good ones in your price range. look up Jessops or Jacobs, you can do it on Internet. Only remember
that the Zoom should be on the lens and not digital since this only
reduces the number of pixels and you will have quality loss. Jacobs
have a trade-in policy, so if you have any camera it can reduce your
cost. The camera will be the least of your expenses. You can pick up quite useful and efficient cameras in most supermarkets now. However, you will require a printer (unless you use Boots or such). The ink for the printer, not to mention the paper is also expensive.
