You might want to take it to a repair shop and avoid more frustration.
Digital cameras are delicate instruments and are prone to be damaged when accidents happen. Film cameras are pretty rugged, but their digital cousins are less so.
Hopefully there will be an inexpensive fix for your camera but since it is a six year old camera, you might want to update to a digital that has all the newer technology built-in, for not much more that it might take to repair your old E20P
