IF IT IS THE CABLE YOU SHOULD GET A FLAGGED NOTE STATING THAT THERE IS A CABLE PROBLEM OR CAMERA IS MISSING
I WOULD GET THE INSTALL DISC AND REINSTALL THE PROGRAM
IT MAY HAVE LOST SOMETHING
IF NOT I AM AFRAID YOU MAY BE ON YOUR WAY TO THE CAMERA SHOP Check the troubleshooting section in your owner's manual. You might try going to "My Computer" and then look under "devices and removable storage". If it shows, double click on it and see if that works. If not, go to "control panel" then "add hardware". Follow the instructions and then go back to the above and see if it shows up. Good luck. if you can successfully transfer pictures before using your usb cable, then there is no prob with ur usb cable connection....if you have a software/program that goes with your digital camera, i think you should reinstall/repair it. just go to add/remove programs on your control panel and then look for that software then try to check the repair section, follow the steps and then restart your computer.
