"Broken" Pentax Optio T20. Please help?
My Pentax Optio T20 camera was working fine, and I used it to take well over 2,000 photographs before one night it suddenly wouldn't function properly anymore. When I press the power button, the lens goes out and the start-up screen shows, but then it makes a weird noise and the lens goes back in and the camera shuts off. I don't know what is wrong and nothing happened to it, and I don't want to have to deal with costly repairs. Thanks for your help.

Are the batteries fully charged?
Is it still under warranty?
It sounds as though it needs a trip to a repair center. You may find that repairing it will cost more than its worth. 2 things, 1 you have put your camera threw the RINGER! and 2- it might cost you your life SAVINGS to have it fixed!!
The bottom line here is that it will be a brand new camera is in order here!!
