Any recommendations for a good digital camera?

i want a camera that's small and portable, could fit in my pocket, isn't too expensive, but still takes good pictures and isn't really cheap or bad quality...

Most of the cameras are small and do videos as well. I like my HP, but just saw a Cannon that could do wonders. It has a very large viewing screen, but the one thing it can do that my camera will not do is to take a shot in low light that is clear. My camera will take a good low light picture, but the shutter stays open longer to capture the shot and any movement of the camera or subject will make the picture a blur. This Cannon took a perfect picture at low light of a band playing. there are tons of good digital camer's. i would recommend you look for lenses. the better the lens the better the pictures. Sony uses some of the Zeis lens that is one of the best lenses you can buy. olympus has great quality pictures. personally i would recommend either!! sorry not to give you a specific camera, but i would be looking into Sony VS Olympus.

It is a bit expensive, $399 regular, but I have seen it for $289. It has a 12x zoom and is a 6 megapixle camera. It has many features too.

I have had it for a year and a half and nothing has gone wrong. The focus is one of the best parts of the camera. I too own the Sony DSC-H2, and I really love it. Plenty of zoom, 6 megapixels, but I'm thinking you want a somewhat smaller camera, and not pay the $300 I think it is today.
