when u record a video on a digital camera how do u hear sound?

because i have a fujifilm finepix A500 and when i record the videos on it it dos'nt have any sound soooooo..................... i was wondering do anyone kno why it don't have sound

Check the camera for a visible mic. If not chances are that it doesn't record sound. I have a Finepix (dunno the model number) and it doesn't record sound with the video's. But just check the video's when you upload them to your comp. some digital cameras dont even hav a built in mic.so it doesnt even record sound because, CAMCORDERS are for videos, NOT digital cameras. Like he said above a lot of digital cameras dont record sound. But for those that do, look for a headphone plug somewhere on the camera and try listening to the video with headphones on, it might work some cameras don't have speakers but do record sound. You can get sound by watching them on your tv or computer (usb cord is needed for computer use and video audio plugs are needed for the tv) I would try it. I've checked "fujifilm finepix A500" on the internet and sadly it record movies without a sound. I attached together the referring link. mine has sound =D

but some dont have a mike

so its unable to record any sound It has sound. Not sure if it does through the camera, but you can connect it to a TV and hear it with the AV cable.

YOu sure it doesn't have a tiny speaker somewhere?
