Get a JVC from electrified.com. cheap is good, but you get what you pay for. right now is best time to buy one i wish you put a price you were going bye umm get a cam corder with like a 20 gig hard drive hard drive cams are awsome so go sony with them there like 500$ if you want to burn them onto lil disks then go olympus if you want tapes cassetes go to your local thrift store and shop around sony is a good brand and they're not that much, you can usually find them on sale after christmas It's not so much cheap brands to look for, but just lower-end models. Stick with brands you have heard of. Sony in particular have good quality stuff, even in the lower priced range. Whatever you get, try and get a warranty, because reapirs are very costy. Now is a good time to buy, but if you want a real bargain, check out the net. Lot's of new products with warranty's available for a fraction of the price.
