what is DV output in camcorder?

what it does? please explain and can you suggest me cheap camcorder with good specification price range 100 -150 pound.

its the digital video output to connect to a pc either by usb or better still firewire if your pc has the socket. you can also easily fit a firewire pci card if you don't already have one on your pc. You can use that output to plug it into another camcorder to transfer video. Or, if you have a cord with a DV on one end and an USB on the other, use it to transfer video to your computer. i am a new yahoo user ,i sell some product on yahoo .

DV output is more than just a way to get signal out of a camcorder. The actual signal that is transmitted via DV (or sometimes call fire wire) is a totally digital signal. It carries video and audio. It's the native format of a DV camcorder and it represents the best signal that your particular camera or device can capture or trans-code. If you have a computer that can take fire-wire in and you plan to edit your video, this connection is extremely important for you. Video and audio signals that are fed via standard RCA plugs (they look like audio plugs) do not provide the very best quality of play. They will work though. All of this is important only if you are going to be editing your video or transferring it. Hope this makes sense.

PS: With many computer video editing programs, the fire wire cable is also used to control the camcorder during capture and even playback and record (you should make DV tape back ups of your final edited program).
