Why wont the player on my samsung mini dv sdc 70 playback the tape?
It will ff and rw but only shows a blue screen when playing.
It worked fine before

Most cameras have a mode that has to be changed before you can view the tape. Its usually by the record button, look for a mode that says "Camera and VCR or PLAY MODE. Hope that helps Three things have caused this to happen to me.
1) I stopped the playback screen, and started rewinding. I left it there for five minutes, and I couldn't get back to where I was.
2) I was stupid enough at the moment to leave the tape out.
3) It was on memory card playback mode, instead of on tape playback mode.
But, I have a different model. It's a Samsung SC-D353.
Also, it could be a low battery or a screwed up tape.
