Why does the Canon TX1 only allow you to record video up to 4GB?
So I am wanting to buy the new Canon TX1 HD video camera. But looking into it further, it appears that the specs say it can only record up to 4GB. This can't be a storage device limitation, because already SDHC cards are out that go up to 8GB, plus 16GB and 32GB cards are right around the corner. Could it be a limitation with SD 1.00 specification, because I have read that the SD 2.00 specification allows SD cards to be read from 4GB to 32GB.
Also, if this is a limitation based on the SD specification, will this be solved later via a firmware update, or will this device just be left behind.
