Why does my Canon Camcorder retract the cassette on loading?
Please help - My canon zr 200 unloads the cassette on loading. I cannot shoot any video as a result. What do I do to prevent this from happening?

I had the same problem before. I read the manual that came with the device, I couldn't find any article that relates and resolve that problem. However, if you take video next time and after you finish taking video, close the screen door first before you switch off the camera power. That seems to solve the problem. Most likely, you'll need to send the camcorder in for service. I hope your camcorder is still under warranty.
