Thats the same Iwas loking for when I bought a canon elura100. It has all the features you would need in a miniDV camcorder. Good optical zoom, image stabilization, good low light performance for the price range, you can use it to transfer old analog videos to digital, real widescreen format, megapixel camera that actually takes good photos, good battery life, very small yet usable.
