What is the difference between :1} Camcorder [2] Digicam [3] Handicam.?

Above of the two are absolutely similar, they capture images and

then record them digitally on a tape. The only difference between the two is that some companies refer to their product as either a

handycam or a camcorder(Camera+recorder).

Both have either a CCD or CMOS sensor to capture images.

Nowadays even high end movies are being captured digitally much to the disdain of film enthusiasts.

Just like the above can be used to make videos, a DigiCam is essentially only use to capture single frames, a photograph.

But these days even Digicams can capture video.

digicam : digital camera. usually not movie

handicam : i think it's the way sony called some of their stuff. like walkman. There is no difference people just have their own ways of sayin it they all do the same thing record live footage. well duh, a camcorder a cross between a camera and a recorder.it has both.a handicam also has both but a digicam has no recorder.i think each product come with info packets stating the features and stuff.do u even have to ask? 1) Camcorder: usually records onto a tape using either digital or analogue recording:

2) handicam: Usually refers to sony brand, but has been generically used to refer to smaller sized camcorders.

3) Digicam: Records an image digitally & is usually a "still" camera
