What is a good digital camcorder for under $150.?

I don't care if it's a couple years old, It doesn't have to be the latest greatest, i'll gladly buy one off eBAY, as long as I can record at least an hour and be able to upload video to YouTube, etc. I'm just not down with paying 600-900 for something as trivial as a camcorder.

I'm with you on that too..i just wont pay some rediculous price for technology when you know the price on this type of equipment will drop in a few years. If you want to upload videos, get a miniDV cam, they will save you tons of hassle later. You might be able to get something like a pv-gs39, or pv-gs150 or maybe even canon elura 100 off of ebay for around that price. Just look around. I got a canon gl2 for $1200 less than the MSRP on ebay, so you might be able to find a $400 camera for around $200 or lower. Now although I spent $1500 on a camera, I still agree with you about thinking its dumb to pay $600-900 for a camcorder. Well, consumer camcorders that will only last for a year or two, that is. But that doesnt mean all of them are just passing trends, the pv-gs150 has been around for a couple years (or longer I think), and pv-gs39 has been around for while as well.
