How do I clear videos and pictures off my rewritable dvd camcorder disk?
I have some rewritable DVD camcorder discs and now that I have some clips and pics on it, I wanna erase them. If the discs are rewritable I can do that right? and if so, how?

If you have a SONY HandiCam, you should use it to "erase" the DVD-RW. I learned the hard way.
Use the camcorder to do the erasing.
A computer "can" erase the miniDVD, however, put it back into the HandiCam and it won't work.
It is just the way it is. I called support and they told that.
Now, maybe Sony wised up and their newer camcorders will work on DVDs that have been erased on a PC. Who knows.
The same may apply for finalizing too. Not sure on that. I could only get the camcorder to finalize a DVD disk. A sure thing is using a pc or laptop with a burning software like Nero and the likes since they have 'the extra feature' just to erase rewriteables (cd rw or dvd rw).
Another is remove the cd from the camcorder without 'finalizing' the disc. This will do the trick on some brands.
Glad to be of help! No, you generally have to flash the whole disk which the camcorder can do but you lose everything on the disk.
