Can any body suggest me that which handicam or camcoder should i buy in the range of 25000.Please re

I want to buy a handycam or camcoder, which will be best and also suggest me why that one is best. my range is 25000 Rs.

Anyway, my recommendation? There are some good ones in Panasonic's PV-GS series. I use the PV-GS65. For that price, you can probably get a 3-CCD unit (amazing colors in outdoor, well-lit situations), with some manual options (white-balance, exposure, shutter, gain) to get your shots the way you want them.

I chose the PV-GS65 for its 3-CCD technology, and its manual options. It's a great camera for the price. The drawback is that its low-light performance isn't great, but I don't get myself into too many low-light situations, so that doesn't matter to me. I'd also like an optical zoom greater than 10x, but that's not a huge problem. I'm getting great use out of this camera.

In addition, if you like to edit, or think you might like to edit one of these days, I strongly suggest MiniDV tapes. Better quality format than DVD, and not as many issues getting the files onto your computer. Make sure your computer has a FireWire port if you go this route.

Other companies also make great stuff in that price range, I'm only going with the one I've actually used. Check it all out, and find out what features you'll be looking for. How much is 25000 Rs in American dollars? If that's close to $25000 then I would suggest a red camera. The camera hasn't come out yet, but it will be the best HD camera you can get for $17000. Check out the link below. But $17,000 only for the body a complete kit is around $24,000 and maybe more with a lens.
